I stupidly asked how the weather was hwen we were at this powwow in Oakland but the persok there was American so she used Fahrenheit but I couldnt understand because we’re from Canada so ir judt turned out to be awkward

We only get rain in the summer usually. And sunny weather here sucks. It's insanely hot, even indoors, there's nothing you can do but lay on the floor and wait for death to take you.

When it's raining, it makes really nice sounds. The temperature is nice and actually bearable. Rain smells nice. Idk, I can't see what's not to like. It's not like I'd willingly be outside anyway, because the summer sun is actually insane.

Plus because we often experience severe water shortages, rain is always welcome here.
