Not sure if this belongs here, but here goes. I'm having issues with skins for the F-15E. One skin I just pasted the .zip file into the coremods/aircraft/F-15ESE/Liveries folder and works fine. Another skin from the same guy & install procedure does not work. Also, the all black cockpit I've tried numerous ways and cannot get it to work. No replies from the creators on the DCS site. Some people say only use the saved games folder for skins. Didn't work. OVGME didn't work. And there are at least 3 MOD folders in DCS itself.

Understandable, but that is how I got them to work. The savedgames has been almost all failures.

note that custom cockpits go in different folders than exterior skins
