I totally agree. I've definitely got emotional burnout. Also going through a whole breakup of my own & dealing with my own stuff, so I try to be there for my friend but tbh I'm not able to always show up the way I'd want to - and it's important to also understand that. & it doesn't mean YOU DON'T CARE about the people in your life. I literally offered to pay for the x-rays he needed, came over and went with her to the ER... So I know that I care, I'm just also really exhausted myself and she seemed super angry with me for even letting it happen in the first place so. Yeah. I think overall we all just need a breather from each other.
