This is a good one. So many to choose from but it probably has to be the star child
It's an even split between Jack Torrance at the bar in The Shining or the culty party sequence in Eyes Wide Shut
I’ll give the most generic answer and say the entire ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Some say generic, I say iconic and masterful
I was so inspired that ending that I re-created the slit scan effect in after effects for one of my own projects
Let us also not forget the Dr. Strangelove phone call
Color me a psychopath, A Clockwork Orange's first half, before Alex goes to prison
Cinematic violence is my kind of thing
Maybe generic was the wrong word. More like “most cliche” answer.
Again, have to disagree with you there—not a cliché ending. Cliché would be if it was used everywhere. Haven’t seen many endings quite like 2001. Such a cocktail of metaphorical imagery and cutting edge practical and visual effects hardly matched by anyone else
It was more so that my answer was cliché. Like, I’m the billionth person who would choose this scene.
Marker. @tight mist is on Take 9!
I mean sheeeeit, I chose this scene by making an homage in a music video I directed, so I feel ya
Good choice 👌
