The whole army plot is soo ass, explaining the unexplainable is a no no imo they are trying to that and that’ll ruin the franchise.
I have a feeling they're either going to explain it soon or even in futre seasons, aren't they going back 27 years each season?
The captain could also have some shining capabilities kinda like the main cast from the movies
I'm willing to see where it goes. So far I love that Andy Muschietti and team can have more free reign with creativity since they have less book text to interpret, the creature designs for IT's appearances have been amazing thus far
Andy is killing it with everything else, methinks the military subplot is a slower burn...in other words:
I hope you are right! I dislike the core concept of the show but one thing I can’t deny is that all the IT set pieces are hella cool!
I do get what you’re saying though, I hope they retain the cosmic horror element if it all as they explore the past and keep some elements unexplained
I have a feeling we’ll be getting an actual glimpse of the famed Turtle at some point, there’s too many things Easter eggs between the show and movies to deny that they’re at least hinting that it exists
