I really loved watching movies like Good Will Hunting and Whiplash; both diverse in a sense, yet they both reach for a soul that wants to do better. Whiplash is what I call a perfect movie because it shows just how seriously passion can be pursued, and good will hunting because it tackles themes most people may go through without navigation.

(TLDR, I want movies that inspire me to pursue my hobbies, or to do better and keep pushing through hardship or sloth. Something with a substantial message on navigating life)
