From what I remember: the main characters are a teenage girl and her younger brother. For most of the film, it follows them and there is a sense of mystery around them running away from home. By the end, it seems to be made clear that the girl is running away and taking her younger brother along because her mother is controlling and was forcing her into a sports career she didn't want. The final scene or close to final scene was in a forest where the siblings are pursued by the police. As they are running away, the girl's leg gets caught between two fallen logs, and she threatens the police that if they come any nearer in an attempt to bring her home, she'll break her leg. She ultimately does, but that's all I remember. I would really appreciate if someone could help me find this movie!
Other details: it was probably made from the 2000s onwards but definitely not from the 2020s onwards. It could have been a tv movie. The characters are white. Possibly in another language than English. I remember the younger brother was very annoying.
