Looking back, now that I processed the movie, I realised, galactus didn't necessarily need to walk to the baby.

1. Cause he was able to levitate silver surfer with ease back when she showed sign of disagreement.
2. His ship got a retractor beam.

These are power inconsistencies within the rules of the movie.

A being like Galactus is too capable to "realistically" loose against the F4. Escaping his ship should have been impossible.

Movie felt cut up and too short.

If anything more with the characters, specifically the Thing and added scenes for Silver Surfer because her emotional arch is so abrupt by the time we find out to the pay off of her purpose.

Now that I think about it, it would be neat to re-edit the movie’s backstory scene a bit earlier. I hope to get the movie in my hands, might do it.

Silver surger being galacto’s wife was new to me. I didn’t think that was necessary. Also making galacto kind of geriatric against sue storm’s jedi like force pushing. But besides those things it wasn’t a bad film. Richard reedus could have used more development in the whole i think of all the evil things and then come up with ways to hurt them before they do. But they left it hanging unfortunately

FANTASTIC FOUR is not a top-tier Marvel franchise. Never has been. These are FIRST STEPS aka BABY STEPS. So, $198M US/CAN, $368M globally (and counting) ain't bad. Remember, this ramps up into AVENGERS. That's the real payoff.

In hindsight, it might have been a mistake for Marvel to release F4 in July. One main reason why many people (esp with families) didn't watch F4 is mainly because they had spent money on first Jurassic world and Superman. Watching 3 movies in theatres esp if you have children is very costly.
