I’m personally really excited for this. I’m looking forward to seeing Mrs Ana de Armas kick some ass 😁
when did the production of this start, cause Lance reddick's there? but the actor died right?
Hyyyype

Idk when I’ll see this but I’ll watch it soon
may see the early screening tomorrow
YESYESYESYESYESYES
Fucking loved this
Yay I’m so happy to hear that
Yeeee
Im in the best mood rn
I loved it even more than I expected to
I’ll be happy because I want to see Ana De Armas kick ass
And oh boy does she kick a lot of ass
Ana was such a perfect choice for Eve
Holy shit, this absolutely fucking rocked on so many levels. Ana De Armas kicks ass in a visceral, fantastic action epic. The action is all absolutely amazing, blood-pumping and delightfully visceral. I had an amazing time watching it all, and the sheer visual prowess in display is absolutely delightful. Ballerina does a lovely job at all of it....
Woop woop
My ★★★★½ review of Ballerina on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/9UEuDX
"Ballerina dancing with fire", is a nice phrase to sum this movie up with. It was (pun intended) an absolute blast. The creatives of the John Wick universe and Chad Stahleski have mastered narrative progression through choreography. Just like the John Wick franchise, the pace in Ballerina is built with relentless motion. It's equally fascinating...
Hell yeah
btw i thought john wick was excommunicado from the ruska romas during this film?
wasnt he busy running?
I'm going tonight! First time for me going to a premiere ever
This isn’t done until they’re dead. Ballerina is a lot of fun. Len Wiseman’s direction and keen eye for detail combined with INSANE action set pieces makes for a thrilling entry into the Wickverse that almost immediately makes you feel right at home in a high octane adrenaline rush with a creative spark that just will not go out. Let’s g...
Yess
Loved this so damned much
Stahelski dont miss
fuck yeaaaaaaah
Ana De Armas is amazing
Also a lot to love on a technical and critical level too
Like, despite the story being simple at face value its very effective
I loved how they culminated the theme of duality and choice, communicated first when she is given the marker
And in the end ||she both kills AND saves.||
Yeah they just fired on ALL cylinders
I loved how she had a father paralleling johnwick to a certain extent, it speaks to Eve's capabilities.
The theme of protection and grief connects her to john wick in a way, but from a victims perspective. then later on being able free herself from the torment by saving the kid.
I didnt care for the villain much, I might have given her sister more interest if she hadnt died so soon.
But my question still lies, is the family allowed to contact John after being declared ex-communicado? And how was he free to help at that time?
I’m disappointed Confident didn’t play in the film
…
You expecting ME to make a joke
ON THE 2016 FRENCH ANIMATED MOVIE IN THE SAME NAME?????
Can’t believe an incomplete sentence makes so much sense.
Rules and consequence
John Wick gave her 28 minutes to kill the dude. That chase was longer then 28 minutes lol
All and all good movie. I want to know what happened to Akira from Wick 4? What of her? Did she, or is she going to get her revenge?
I liked the movie but I hope this ain’t going to be a franchise like Fast 1,2,3,4,5 and so on? lol
bro i lost my shit when he said that lol
lol it’s like it’s his signature move
There is gonna be a Caine film
I assume Akira will be an antagonist
Oh nice
This was pretty good
Not as amazing as any of the main movies but pretty damn solid

JW3: 8.2/10

John Wick 4 is just astounding, not sure the franchise will reach that level again
The fire vs water scene wouldn't happen in real life, but I don't care. Still visually stunning
but isnt that done for real?
its possible with a high pressure hose maybe
I never took a physics class so don't quote me on that though
im guessing too
bbut god damn, i was satisfyed with blowtorch battle
JW 4 it was sparkle ball, here it was the fire dance
yo this is awesome to watch

Keanu Reeves and Ana de Armas training From the World of John Wick: Ballerina
#johnwick #theballerina #keanureeves #anadearmas #stunts #stunttraining
Im seeing this again today i think
i wanna aswell, but ineed budget for httyd
how will they replace lance in the sequel when she's declared open season? assuming its before johnwick 4
I love the creative choice of making her father have the heart and capabilities akin to john, adds a richness to the relatability between Eve and John when they eventually meet.
It must be crazy for a character like eve to see so much resemblance on a mythical stranger.
I love your name LOL
hehe
wah
3.5
Decent
Still ain’t better than the mainline films
Great
Good time
This movie is 5% story 15% action and 80% establishing shots
and 100000000000000% ana de armas
Ana de armas is the greatest woman of all time and she deserved this film to have been directed by Chad Stahlesky from the start
Watched Ballerina and it was really good. The story is a bit thin but I got what I wanted from a John Wick spinoff movie which is a lot of fantastic action scenes. Ana De armas was incredible in this movie and some of the action stuff were really inventive like the flamethrower scenes at the end. I also thought John Wick was utilised really well in this movie but I do wonder why he helped her at the end because his mission was to kill Eve, I guess he saw merit in her vengeance like himself. That nightclub scene was great.
Fantastic movie, really enjoyable.
But the bigger question is why he's even in contact with the Roma's as excommunicado at that point?
Wasn't he also declared dead at the end of 3?
The story and dialogue are terrible but we’re here for the action and that was great
and ana de armas
Love her
I thought it was OK. Action was great. Characters were forgettable. I don't think id watch a sequel honestly, there's no draw to bring me back.
About to see this. Hope it's as expected (female dancing John Wick)
I thought it was quite good personally
The blonde guy who has the flamethrower fight with her?!! He's a pretty good actor along with being a stunt performer
I mean it's a John Wick spin off but.. oh whatever
I enjoy Ana VERY MUCH!

LAWD
Honestly excited to see something for Akira and then for her to meet Eve
I believe the end of this movie is building up to a sequel or maybe John Wick 5 so it’d be nice to see what role she will play after. Bcs this is technically an origin film
our on digital nowwww : )
This movie was awesome. Ana De Armas was just 😍
Agreed.. she was great
The next chapter from the World of John Wick follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas), who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. Eve seeks revenge for her father’s death, and finds herself crossing paths with John Wick himself (Keanu Reeves).
The film is directed by Len Wiseman, written by Shay Hatten, based on cha...
Why
Just WHY
Did they cut this scene
It single-handedly fixes the continuity hole Wick's inclusion in the third act created 😭 😭 😭
thats wild
I don't get it either, that deleted scene adds value to the movie
From the deleted scene, we now know that Wick actually knew Eve's father and that maybe one main reason why he decided to help Eve
Yeah deleting that scene made zero sense
the film was fucked up in production and then reshot like two times or something
and they still kind of rushed it out
at least ana and keanu were great
better than them in Knock Knock
Omg I forgot they were in knock knock together 😂
