Dr Shawn Murphy has aged quite a bit @umbral ridge
finally a channel for peak
What is your thoughts on Dr Shawn Murphy’s character development
idk i've never watched the good dr
we are talking about the Pitt tho
wonder if this will be considered the best medical drama or best written medical drama
Having now watched 12 episodes of this show, I absolutely love it. The latest episode was intense, makes you appreciate healthcare workers even more when they are doing everything they can to save as many lives as possible.
Everyone was at their A game from Dr. Robby to Dr. Mohan, love Dr. Mel and her wanting to give blood to not let the patient die. Can't wait for next episode.
A lot of actual medical professionals are already saying it is the most accurate medical drama they have ever seen
yay, we can all talk spoilers now!
Yes we can, this show is so good.

Hopefully he will react each episode
I’m just on episode 8 and I’m devestated. I’ve been crying the past few minutes 😭😭😭
Ya that was a very sad episode
Absolutely it was, next episode seems to be very intense too looking at the preview
Stressful episode... jesus lol
2 more episodes left
Robbys totally crashing out, i dunno if he'll be able to go on. Also, id imagine sometime in the next 2 episodes theyll have to treat the shooter
Physically cringed when Whitaker drilled the IO into the dude while he was conscious and not badly wounded
And Santos putting a balloon in without any senior resident or attending supervising like she’s literally an intern
I really enjoyed the new episode. Just as intense as the rest and the end of it was very sad
yeah that last scene was heartbreaking
dunno how theyre going to get by without Robby, i feel like hes going to need a break
Oh yeah he definitely needs one
That was my other thought, but really, it's probably someone random. Or even someone from, like, the first episode who no one remembers
It's also pretty clever how they showed 11 episodes of how patient care is supposed to go, all of the checks and procedures, and now how it's all gone out of the window
Absolutely incredible episode of The Pitt and tragic as well. Dr. Robby is going through so much right now and at the end he just couldn't handle it. I know it was a waste of time and blood for him to treat Leah but he had to do everything he possibly could.
Regarding the shooter, I think it is just gonna be some random person and not someone we are familiar. Mckay is getting into trouble for IOing her ankle monitor but hopefully the Police will consider the circumstances. Loving Dr. Abbott and his cool gadgets.
Santos still hasn't had her ego punctured either.
i was hoping when she tried that procedure shed fuck it up (tho it wouldve sucked for the patient lol), but alas it worked
maybe theyre saving her comeuppance for the finale?
Maybe it'll never happen? still lots of time left though
His performance week after week have been great but this week his performance was incredible
hopefully she gets over confident due to saving that one patient and fucks up with Langdon saving the day
yeah, it was heartbreaking watching him break down, amazing acting by Noah
hoping he'll get an Emmy for it
Yah, very deserved
Ya that was really sad
Langdon looks a lot like Antony Starr
They did not need to show that fucking baby coming out child birth in general is GNARLY

8pm episode up!
another solid af episode. show just keeps giving
nice to see Robby bounce back. theyd have been 100% fucked if Dr Abbot didnt come in, dudes a rockstar
I wonder if they’ll reveal the shooters identity
But I’m guessing they won’t
Because this isn’t a soap opera-y show like 9-1-1 and those other shows
I don’t think they should tbh
Noah Wyle’s winning the Emmy after ep 13
In the post ep interview on tv line Noah says that the identity wasn’t shown because it was irrelevant as well as their motive, the show is more about showing the after effects and the medical tragedies they deal with
Yeah I’m very glad it wasn’t shown
Like having it be the fat Trump supporting Karen guy would’ve been too contrived and on the nose
I also guarantee you the conversation would revolve around the shooter instead of the victims
whats the finale going to be about i wonder? Landgon fallout?

The Pitt 1x15 Promo...
It's going to be everything coming to a head
Collins didn't make it back in, I noticed
but kind of crazy how the whole event was just, like, over, you know?
watching this as a binge is going to be such a mad experience
That’s how I watched it
I started like a week ago or something
I loved the new episode
Also season 2 taking place over the 4th of July weekend is a smart idea
It’s just gonna be fucked up kids
Like mostly drug overdoses I’m guessing
Which is great material for the show
I didnt like that shot of Robby on the roof in this trailer. Hope nothing apeshit happens in the finale...
So glad that season 2 is already in production and we may not have to wait long. I'm curious whether we will get the same cast or a mixture between old and new.. season 2 is set 10 months after season 1 I believe.
I’d love to see the old cast return in and maybe sprinkle in a few new people
That would be nice ya
there's a lot of the night shift we've barely met, so lots to explore there, but I'd be happy to see the current cast return, just with a bit more experience.
agreed, and I imagine that'll be the case for the majority of cast. really interested to see what happens with Langdon because YIKES
So long as Dr. King is in it, everything will be fine...
Those are questions Wyle hopes to examine in Season 2. He’s already in the writers’ room, and will start shooting again in June for a January 2026 premiere — Max intends for “The Pitt” to return every year. The current plan is for Season 2 to take place roughly ten months after the events of Season 1, when Dr. Robby “no longer is able to pretend to himself that he doesn’t need help,” Wyle says.
Nice
Glad to hear this, good to have TV that doesn't cost the GDP of a small country again
i had no idea Dr King was Bryan Cranstons daughter... https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/who-is-taylor-dearden-actor-the-pitt-bryan-cranston-daughter
oh wow
Is her character on the spectrum?
I know her sister is but no way she’s not
her character is and the actress is
Max has gotta work on it update schedule. shit should be up at exactly 8pm cst... always a few minutes late
9pm is up!
Hour long episode too
now that was a season of TV!
I’m still halfway through the last ep
once all the shit came their way they probly didnt have a second to spare a thought to anyone not in the ER
meanwhile Collins probly popped a xanny and is unaware of anything happening
i guess this thing with Robby and Jake is gonna be multi-seasonal. im kinda glad they didnt have a quickly forced reconciliation
yeah, that wound might never heal
Loved the finale and the season overall. It was a great experience watching it from week to week. Noah wyle does an amazing job playing Dr. Robby, love other cast of characters too. This show makes you appreciate the work of Emergency medicine Doctors and Nurses, crazy what they are able to do to save lives.
I'm interested where season 2 takes us, I think it is set 10 months after season 1 during 4th of July weekend. I think we will see a lot of the original cast return but also some new ones as well.
I think there's still so much we don't know about the current cast that they all have to return
Peak tv
Dont be sad that the mass casualty event is over, be happy you were apart of it.
Dr. Reed Caldwell rates scenes from the HBO Max medical drama "The Pitt," starring Noah Wyle.
He breaks down the show's portrayal of performing CPR and end-of-life care, handling surgical tools, treating disorders like sickle cell disease and measles, managing overwhelmed waiting rooms, and caring for victims of mass casualty events. Finally, h...
Interesting stuff

We're so back.
︀︀
︀︀Season 2 of #ThePitt has begun filming. Stream Season 1 now on Max.
I'm only 7episodes in, and still can't get the appeal of the show.
I don't know what I'm missing...
Everybody's mentioning the realistic approche of the show, which I agree with. Other than that, I still don't get where's the fun in that?
then its time to give up on it. I was hooked from the first 3 eps.
but not every show is for everyone.
I've zero interest in The Wire or Breaking Bad, and find The Office painfully unfunny
Each to their own
I heard that the main actor received a prize for this show. That's what makes me curious about the pitt. I just want to see if it is worth it.
Though, I like the cast. They fit pretty well here.
So far, the character I'm interested in the most is Dr. Cassie McKay. It seems like she has a complex back story.
