Very good film. Now I understand why 20th Century Films ended up selling the film for other studios and luckily Focus bought it.

Austin Butler gonna go places and man I'm just happy to see my boy doing great.

It did feel aimless at times though it fits as like many clubs with interests, things fall apart and it's not pretty as the times changes.

I think my expectations might've been a little too high tbh, the trailers looked like the best film ever. Another film that might work better on rewatch. But as far as old-school genre tales with a new lick of paint and a great cast go, Love Lies Bleeding takes the cake imo
