Angel Heart wasn't good. 2/10 The plot was a wild goose chase, boring and very predictable. I think a movie like Tales From The Hood executes the same storyline better.

Working my way thru this list now. I saw Vivarium some years ago and remember it being slightly terrifying. Something about their child being creepy and being trapped in a suburb where everything looks the same

I enjoyed The Babadook 6/10.
Cons: gimmicky character appearance and lack of context to why the mom got possessed when she did. Ending was kinda odd and not believable
Pros: the scenes after she wakes up from her nightmares are terrifying and fit what I'm looking for. Great story building overall despite the end and some contexts missing
