I think a problem I have with the MV so far is that it really doesn't feel like a "universe" much

it's one of the few things I can credit the MCU for doing properly

every character feels like they have their own bubble within the larger universe

which is very close to how the comics do it

and said comics benefit immensely from it

but the Monsterverse especially now just kinda feels like

Godzilla and Kong

technically separate but involved in each other's shit

there's Mothra but she isn't her own character as she was in the Showa Era

So you telling me, project_fisticuffs (forgot the name of it), was on Hollow Earth all the time Kong was there, and the only time it got mentioned, when he got frost bite?
