I just tried filmmaking last year , but my camera broke and i quit , but now when i am going to finish my schooling, it feels like i should do filmmaking as a career , but don't know how to start with..

Broken equipment is incredibly frustrating and can break morale, I get it I’ve been there.
If you want to start filming again, use your phone or get a new camera, write something very short and simple, and get some friends together over a weekend and film something
I’ve learned the best way to get into it is to just do it! You won’t get everything right at first, but make note of your mistakes and pitfalls and learn from them so you can do it differently on the next one.
And then do it all again!
