I really enjoyed Saltburn, had some good comedy moments, I really liked the story. Don't watch it with anyone sensitive, there are a few "yuk" moments. A roller-coaster ride with a satisfying ending. It's very well shot and the location is to die for. I think there could be a second one or even a prequel as I also had a few questions at the end of it.

I loved it, but with everything I had a few moments of what-if's. Such as what if we got a little bit more time with Oliver, If so I would like to learn a little bit more of his family life before this and what brought him to be the person he is now.
Though the choice is justified as our characters literally are like "where the **** did you come from?" Which is exactly the feeling I got.
Overall it was a great movie, I felt that if you are going to go into material like that, then you better go all the way in and I think Fennell along with the improvised grave scene (yes, Barry Keoghan told us it was improvised and asked Fennell to let him "try something") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EOPCGeb1sg
I'm impressed with the acting of Barry Keoghan and Rosamund Pike, which in my opinion were our stand-out performances. I would also like to commend the costume design and set design, that statue in the maze is creepy as all hell.
What about the acting did we like? As an actor I'm curious.
Well, some of the scenes were very weird and disgusting but unique. I've never seen such an original idea for a movie and it's style.
I loved the camera work (a specially in the scene when Oliver looked out of the window at the university - somewhere on the beginning of the movie) his face "multipled" and I was amazed by it.
The character builds were amazing and I loved how Barry Keoghan played Oliver, he did such a great job. He was really brave to do such a things. Also I'm really curious what was in Barry's head when he came up with an idea for a grave scene and how the director accepted it just like that.
I loved it !
Entire cast did an excellent job.
Watched it for Barry Keoghan but was impressed beyond .. very pleasantly surprised
shared it the same day with someone else so watched it twice in 24 hours. Upon second watch I was convinced that it was indeed a good film. The person I shared it with liked it within the first 5 minutes. They said it had a Fellini feel, which they liked a lot. I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone, but it is definitely worth a watch.
I’ll answer your acting question from my perspective. In this bizarre twisting turning movie the characters seemed real. They were grounded and believable. For example, the cousin (Farleigh) seemed like a real life jerk. Not just because of the way he was written, but because everything about his demeanor was realistic. You could tell the type of person he was without him even saying a word. As for Oliver, I have always felt that Barry Keoghan must have a deep complex well to draw from. The first time I ever saw him was in Killing of a Sacred Deer and his very presence is innocent, uneasy, and confusing. He truly does have a kind of Pinocchio essence about him. He can be several different things simultaneously. He is layered. Like a real human would be.
What say you?
Why did he sex the dirt?
it was a great movie but why did he sex the dirt?
I personally think every sexual encounter Oliver has in this film was about power & domination - nothing to do with sex.
in front of everyone, oliver was very dominant. But with Felix he seemed sweeter and shy. The fact that he had sex with Felix's grave proves his mental perversion. Oliver had a plan to get the mansion of the family but the grave scene had nothing to do with it.
You aren’t supposed to look into it much, he just crazy
Some of the best life advice I ever received.. “crazy people’s crazy “ hahaha
Thank you for reminding me of a truly lovely & laughable moment in my life 🙏
