There are some problems

I absolutely loved episode 6 of Ahsoka and actually it was quite shocking to me. I ||didn't expect both Thrawn and Ezra to show up, Thrawn looked awesome (straight out of Rebels) and he has quite a lot of screen time||, also ||Sabine found Ezra quickly as well which was great||. Loved it all.

It is also important to note ||that all of this happened in a totally different galaxy of star wars which is the first ||. Can't wait for the next one.

Also, this was an episode i watched without care for lightsaber duels. I just wanted to see the old faces once again.

I also loved the contrived way they had Sabine not say what was going on. It was almost painful to watch

It felt very in-character for her honestly, I did like that.

6th episode was already insane as I didn't expect ||both Thrawn and Ezra to show up||

The beginning of this ep definitely does get overshadowed, but it does actually give at least a little credence to this theory I think.

Through their conversation it is pointed out that the movies are “stories from the Archives” being watched back. I think that what confirms that is the “in a galaxy far, far away…” line.

So I think there are three main possibilities:

1. Yes, these are stories from those Archives, being played back and told to us in the future. The past of our universe. But that admittedly feels odd to me?
2. The films are stories being passed down within the fictional universe, retold by somebody. Maybe even…Rey? With the limited lens of RoS, she seems to be the only Jedi around. So then, maybe the films are her teaching her own padawans the past of their galaxy? I imagine she’d be able to get access to the Archives herself, and could definitely even ask those still alive from the days of 4-6 about their experiences.
3. In a similar vein, these are stories being recounted and retold by Ahsoka herself. This theory mostly only works if Huyang, the droid, dies in this show or a later film and she lives. Perhaps its even a death in self-sacrifice...Basically, though Ahsoka might not necessarily be telling them to padawans - she still tells all these stories post-sequels. Picking it up from Huyang, who she’d known for a long time.

These are just some loose theories that came to mind. They might not make sense because I am just waking up, but wanted to spew anyways lol.

To me it seems like she just doesn't have the vision Ray Stevenson has. Stevenson wants to create something big and she seems to not quite believe in it

Not really nope if you read Star Wars legends comic runs, like the beginning stories of how SW universe came. There's no earth or milky way whatever afaik 🤔.

There's like milky way equivalent and earth equivalent but in no way is related to ours. It must be a bit different of how Lucas setup when he wrote SW, which is inspired from Dune where there is an earth in Dune universe and thats how they evolved to known imperium with Atreides family, Harkonnens etc

For me Andor is still better than Ahsoka but they are not miles apart like some are saying. Ahsoka is already in my top 5 shows this year without watching the next 2 episodes, one reason maybe that I'm just a huge rebels fan.

My cup of tea is many things including a gritty spy thriller like Andor (which was my favorite show of 2022) and a typical star wars show like Ahsoka as well. Also, when fan service leads to a story then there's absolutely no problem and till date that has been the case with Ahsoka imo.

When I watched Andor last year I had interactions with many star wars fans and some of them didn't really like it and were shocked by the hype it was getting, they said it was boring and not really Star wars. Others were glowing. Andor is a very unique Star wars show, it is nominated for best drama at Emmys which rarely happens for a Star wars show. I loved Rogue one, I wasn't huge on Andor character but again the storytelling in the show, character progression of Andor, the way how Empire worked with Dedra and all that stuff was absolutely incredible.

Then you have fans like Morpho and many others who adore Star wars animated shows like CW and Rebels, and they love Ahsoka more than Andor which is absolutely fine. I'm loving Ahsoka too esp as a huge Rebels fan. It's all valid opinion.

Fantastic season/series finale of Ahsoka. Overall loved this show a lot esp as someone who was a big Rebels fan. I did have a few problems with the finale like, ||Sabine having strong force powers all of a sudden or, we still don't know true motivations of Baylon except that he was searching for Mortis Gods||. Ray Stevenson did such an amazing job as Baylon and ||I don't know if Baylon's story will continue or not||

I was quite surprised but it made sense that ||both Ahsoka and Sabine would be left stranded in that planet, now they can truly train together without much distractions||, absolutely loved ||Thrawn in this show and he's back in our main galaxy with a lot of crates||. Loved the fact that ||Ezra is now back and that will help Hera as well, and he has built his own lightsaber too||.
My god, that fight ||between Ahsoka and Morgan was absolutely epic, loved it||.

For me, I loved this show. There were some little problems for sure but as a huge rebels fan, it was fantastic. I hope we get another season of Ahsoka.

Shin Hati I thought was a fantastic character and while I doubt there will be a full series about her exploits, if there is I will definitely watch it. I do hope she appears in upcoming star wars projects and also the Filoni movie.

I finally watched the finale and... not a lot got resolved did it? If one was kind one could say it was an empire strikes back ending

also... I don't know about Thrawn. Every obstacle he put in failed and he just kept being all smug about it. One day I'd like someone get a little bit frustrated that the protagonists keep destroying everything thrown in their way with ease :D

(That's one of the good parts of Kylo Ren I guess)

The show clearly thinks there's plenty they could have done had they been in time. If one were to do a bit of speculation the star destroyer was virtually useless while docked and being loaded (which was an important part of the plan) and infiltrating the ship and disrupting the cargo loading is well within what these kinds of heroes do all the time. While the ship was docked I'm sure with enough time they could also have come up with a plan to cripple the whole ship or the ftl ring.

Technically I guess there's also no way Thrawn could have foreseen that Sabine would just not give a shit about him and the fate of the (home) galaxy and not tell Ezra about what was going on.

I just watched the first episode just now. Then came here. OMG It’s is GREAT. I don’t know that much about Star Wars lore, and I don’t really know a lot of details like a lot of people do who are hard fans. But just knowing her from Mandalorian and loving her there, this one is off to a fantastic start. I love her as the more adult’ier adult and this episode sets up a very nice story. I can’t wait to see more. 11/10
