Led me to her production designer, Sarah Greenwood, and her set designer, Katie Spencer.

Thought this was fascinating.

The movie fails to address one problem with patriarchy. Men are often the victims of patriarchy as well. The only line addressing this is is when the guy says "I'm a man with no power am I a woman?" Basically, in the patriarchy, men overall don't necessarily benefit, only men with power do. The problem I had with the movie was that I related to alot of barbies struggles even though I was a man, but the movie explicitly genders barbies problems as womens problems under the patriarchy, when in reality, men with no power feel the same pressure

Ken being the antagonist of the Barbie Movie is something I never saw coming, but something I never knew I needed.

He was already a bad guy in Toy Story 3, but I think Gosling Ken is superior in every way now.

It really ties into the message of the movie, and delivers well on the ending.

The more I've thought about this film, the more I realize that perhaps the film is not all that bad in its handling of gender politics.

Thought this was fascinating.

They figured out that Barbie is 23% bigger than her space.
