Due to maybe some cussing & stuff.
Marker. @mighty frost is on Take 4!
I bet you can still see it if your 17
I'm under 17
Oh my bad, well I would at least try if you really wanna see it. Most theater employees don't care
usually nudity
fr
I'm still going to watch it.
i dont know what its like where you live, or if this still works, but we used to buy R-rated tickets at the computerized ticket kiosk. it didnt check ID and then you have your ticket and just go in with everybody else
They use a real nuclear weapon and it’s extremely graphic
with an adult
I think the film contains some swearing
if you are in the US, just use the app to buy tickets and then show up with the QR code.
I'm sure the R is for swearing etc., maybe political stuff too that they deemed unsuitable for younger ppl
could be graphic, war related violence
its for this
@warm mothwill it be r in all countries?
I do not know
oh yeah sorry idk what i thought
No
Rated R for Oppenheimer Dong
yeah
I was under the impression that Oppenheimer would probably contain some form of violence and gore and such without making it too much of an "action" film.
But the R rating gives you unprecedented freedom to implement whatever theme you'd wish without too much worry that younger audiences would be exposed to.
yeah
One thing, Christopher Nolan is basically for emo teenage-boys who’s parents don’t let them watch r rated movies but they still want to watch edgy movies. I feel that he is betraying a ton of his audience by making it rated r
boobs
Rated R for Robert
necessary for plot
What makes you think the nudity itself is unnecessary?
Fair enough.
From what I’ve heard I agree that it’s unnecessary
I didn't think it heavily detracted from the movie, but I also agree it was somewhat unnecessary. They alluded to other affairs without showing sex. They could have shot the scene clothed and it would have had the same effect 🤷♀️ . The only part I felt was enhanced was when they showed Oppenheimer naked at the table discussing his affairs
Nudity and strong language. But, mostly the nude scenes. Otherwise, it probably would've been PG-13 I think.
I feel that it was necessary to show. ||Oppenheimer and Jean Tatlock had a very sexual and passionate relationship and the scenes where they're both completely naked speaking to one another, and Kitty having hallucinations of Jean having sex with Oppie does a great job at conveying that.||
