Event Horizon is pretty fucked, seems creepy as hell
Hm, if we are going for disturbing and I would not want to be in that universe. I would offer: It Follows (2014), 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) and Apostle (2019).
And, if you like Event Horizon, Sunshine (2007) has a somewhat similar premise and I’d recommend!
Based on a videogame, but the Silent Hill movie universe was pretty ill. Also... George Romero's Night, Dawn, & Day of the Dead universe. Fuck that.
Don't know about It Follows except for its plot but The Clovefield universe and the island from Apostle is pretty fucked up
||that deep-fried captain played by Mark Strong was definitely something||
Silent Hill's universe has its share of weird ass creatures as well, the movies seem decent enough as well
And Romero's ..of the dead universe is pretty scary as well, they might be slow as fuck but I don't give a shit I ain't being devoured to death anytime
Not sure what about space makes characters want to violently disfigure themselves and start a doomsday cult…but I’m glad I won’t find out
Look up "The Warp 40k" and you'll get a pretty good idea
Marker. @violet geyser is on Take 5!
Talking about the 40K universe, the nurgle faction is pretty fucked up as well
I mean they seem to be happy with their conditions but you wouldn't really want to fight with those fuckers
Personally, think the Evil Dead universe, the Hell Raiser universe and the In the Mouth of Madness universe of pretty fucked up
Don't know about the other 2 but Evil Dead has some pretty fucked up shit, and it is usually caused by some stupid fuck and a nasty-looking book
But in the mouth of madness should be Lovecrft and his universe is more than just fucked up
Right!? The book is made of skin and written in blood!!
And I would agree that in the mouth of madness is more lovecraft
But they always have to open it, don't they.
And after that it's pretty much a bloodfest
