It felt like they were trying to copy the gritty feeling of some DC movies with certain aspects of this

The first movie opens with the MC’s mom dying of cancer and being abducted to live in space and has one of his new friends die at the end

The second one is where Peter finds out his absent father is actually a genuine monster wanting to eat planets and his surrogate father dies

The woman Peter fell in love with dies by the hands of her own father and he can’t do anything about it

But this movie was dark and the others weren’t I guess

One of the main characters has his sole motivation in the first movie being vengeance for his murdered wife and daughter ffs you just ignored the tone because funny joke

And sometimes, it’s ok to be a flawed team member, because they always contribute something in there own way.

so it seems for filming they just straight up made a Rocket animatronic for the cast to interact with lmfao

this is such an interesting look into a usual actor's day on set

I never plan on being an actor but this video shows me why some people get into it, it just seems so fun to really get into a character like this

also it's quite bizarre to see Karen straight up drive through areas I've seen before, since almost all the Marvel stuff films here in Atlanta now, there's probably actors going back and forth in the streets rn to trillith

But Eternals deserved better reception. It tried to take Phase 4 in a solid direction, but the MCU just had to rush with the multiverse shiz.

I just wish they exercise the same amount of patience as they did when building up towards Thanos.
