I'm not exaggerating but maybe I haven't watched em yet!

It would be cool if you laid out your must see (live-action, animation...etc) movies tho

Really depends on genre, tastes and what type of directing style tbh:

  • Drama: 12 angry men, pulp fiction, reservoir dogs, forest gump, good will hunting, dead poets society

  • Action: Aliens, Terminator 2, Mad Max, Dirty Harry, The Two Towers, Matrix

  • Horror: Evil Dead 1/2, Texas Chainsaw (OG), Halloween (OG), The Thing, The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street

  • Animation: Your Name, Anything by studio ghibli - kikis delivery service, howls moving castle, spirited away etc, lion king, toy story, monsters inc, fantasia, cinderella, snow white, wizard of oz, how to train your dragon, tangled

Interesting question. I think you can approach this in so many different ways. For example, one way would be to try an give a diverse list of movie to show the scope of the art form (eg, one from the action movie genre, another from the neo-realist genre, etc.).

I feel like there is a list of movies most of the ppl know abt...like for example End Game.....despite the movies that most of the ppl love cinema will agree on u should watch them if u love cinema in general...
