How many pictures should I have per second

You can do it on 3s, 2s or 1s. Depends how smooth you want it. Keep in mind most movies are played at 24 frames a second in the US and 25 frames in Europe

So 1s would be 24 frames per second, 2s would be every 2 frames is one image for 24 frames, 3s is every 3 frames is one image for 24 frames

It’s also a stylistic choice - personally really like when stop motion projects mix up the frame rate depending on what’s happening
