but you can't tranform an existing channel to a forum channel

as for threads ... they only are available in normal channels

mods just have to change 1 or 2 permissions on here to get the Delete Post by posters themselves

i only run servers for testing purposes
(and to stash huge amounts of emojis)
but these settings work for me to get the Delete Post (only by OP that is )

btw it's def important to force members to tag the members require to chose a label with each post
it's helpful for everyone for later browsing

and maybe 1 or more labels only mods can add (like solved or answered or locked )

and guidelines are not well made in forums tbh
instead use the pin (unfortunately only 1 pinned message )

or better maybe:
compact some of the channels/categories to forum versions

this server is big, but it's a labyrinth when you first enter (that is no critque except towards discords old structure (hence they implemented this forum new feature))

rec-me-pls is fine, but new forum channels for reviews for example
or according to genre
