It depends on what tickles your fancy.
People are scared of different things.
I'm scared of subtle and atmospheric things, things akin to Resident Evil or Silent Hill where there is an haunting atmosphere or something that might appear off, it can also be thriller horror
I don't play those games, all I know RE movies are shit.
But Cheddar said if you like Silent Hill, you should try Men.
The Blackcoat's Daughter is atmospheric, very snowy.
They're not really horror but you should check out some of David Lynch's films. Silent Hill took a lot of inspiration from his style and his films have the same dreamlike weirdness
but it's like said before by ladyinthewater "what tickles your fancy"
horror doesn't need to be supernatural
sometimes reality is scarier (eg war movies )
If they mentioned RE and SH, I figured it's either about zombies or monsters as the representation of traumatic psychological horror lol.
Oh wait, maybe this will work
Interaction completed
to me requiem for a dream is Horror with a capital H
I really like this one, even though cgi is kinda lame
Yeah, but horror to you may not be horror to them.
I don't know the OP enough to know what gives them the heebie jeebies
yep
OP tells us a bit more of what you like to watch in the first place
do you have a phobia
like a fear for bugs or heights or tight spaces or politicians?
Fear of politicians
That's new
In #horror , someone asked if there was a horror movie about the fear of open doors
I don't have any idea
owwww i actually had that when young
this is closely related to the fear of "what's under your bed "
but also long narrow tunnels/hallways
the are plenty of those
but they usually are mixed with claustrophobia
