my favourite "older" film is Imitation of Life by Douglas Sirk personally!
I’d recommend Roman Holiday and singing in the rain!
Rope is an amazing Hitchcock film; i'd recommend that
I realllllllly need to see singing in the rain
It’s definitely a classic! If you’re into musicals I’m sure you’ll enjoy it
Literally anything by Alfred Hitchcock. Especially if your all for suspense

My fave
The big sleep and the Maltese Falcon
Casablanca, The Passion of Joan of Arc
Anything by F. W. Murnau, Max Ophüls, and Fritz Lang
