Yes. x is the goal, but one way to find it is by finding as many of the unknown angles as you can.

first i took the symmetry of cf bcrhen i drew a line dividing the axis of symmetry divided it by 2 and placed the angles

Ok. We don't actually know any of the sides, so I would start with what we do know. The angles. And get more knowledge by finding more of the angles.
