like i feel like i used to view teachers like almighty creatures that are scary but they just want you to do well

#

so if you genuinely go up to ur teacher and say you want to improve and learn like honestly then they would be obliged to help no?

but it doesn't matter how I should shorten it all, he just wants to show that his students got good results in the final exams, that's all

Start learning concepts, not mathematical expressions.

A fraction is the division of a whole number by another whole number, it can be the expression of a decimal number, 1/2 = 0.5.

If a fraction does not have remainder, that means that there is not a decimal part in the computation of the fraction.

Division is not commutative, this means you cannot always change the order of the numbers and have the same result, 1/2 does not equal 2/1.

But, multiplication is commutative, example: 2 * 3 = 3 * 2.

Multiplication and division are opposite operations, (are they also strictly inverse?)

(1/2) * (2/1) = 1.

Everything that I said here is not strictly true in other math fields, but it's a start.

i’d probably recommend learning the multiplication table by heart (until 10*10), and then you can start doing long multiplication and long division

idk if this helps but multiplication is basically the same as addition but repeated. If 7 is multiplied by 8 then think of adding 7 together 8 times.

The opposite applies for division: if you're dividing 49 by 7, think how many times you can fit 7 in 49, or how many times you can substract 7 from 49 until you get 0? 7 times.

These are kind of basics but just do a looot of practice questions until you feel comfortable with division, multiplication. once you get bored of those start with negative numbers, exponents, graphing, roots (basically exponents)
