hello, so if you have a ti 84 type caculator i prefer to enter the data set into it by using stats button and click edit then insert the numbers
then after click calac and it gives the mean median standard devation, etc
its better than if you use the formula
its an easier way
she is requiring us to show work on the test so i to learn it
but ill try to learn that way as well
i actually don’t really know the formula because my teacher didn’t really emphasize it for a test but she did go through this topic, so you might have to need someone else to help you out in order to break down the formula and stuff
okay i see 🫠😔
I see the calculation mistake
Did you verify with a calculator there can be a calc error too right?
Nvm, I'm wrong there, ignore that.
yeah i check my calculations its still the same
√[(384-324)/8]
may i see how u did it in the calculator
2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 their sum is 54
According to your formula-
54×54/9=2916/9=324
√(60/8)≈2.7
You need to do the squares before the sum, remember order of operations. For example: $(2+3)^2=5^2=25$ but $2^2+3^2=4+9=13$
Aza
yea dividing by 8 is for the mean/median??
