do you understand how ratios work first of all
what it's saying is
if you take each side and join them together in a straight line
bc will be 3/7ths of the legnth of the straight line
ac will be 2/7ths of the straight line
and ab will also be 2/7ths of the straight line
does this make sense so far
somewhat i think? im confused how i would be able to find x though
like do i plug it in just to each part or something
well we know that bc is 1.5 x larger than ac right
because 3/7 is 1.5x larger than 2/7
right
and we can now set up an equation
1.5 * ac= bc
and then you input your values for the length of ac and bc
