I need help with math hw

Idk what 2a + 2x (3ay+4) - 3 is and I legit tried to do it on a seperate paper BUT the answer is different? a = 1, x = 5, and y = 6

Like i tried doing it myself but it said its 261... and when i did it on my calculator it said it was 219 and I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW OR WHY.

MD - multiplication and division. you have a multiplication here. do this first.
AS - addition and subtraction. do these last.

also for AstroGuy, the (3ay + 4) resolves to 22, and the 2x resolves to 10, so the implied product there is 220. 2a is 2, so 220 + 2 - 3 = 219.
