It would be the diagonal
For torque about the intersection of diagonals by the 2 couples
The perpendicular distance would be the length of that point to the couple itself
my guide answer says 12cm is the distance, i cant figure out how though

if two forces of equal magnitude 25 form a couple, then the magnitude of its moment = .........
all in cm
Ur guide must have the wrong answer bcz
See the sides of the triangle are 6 8 10
It's a right angle triangle
So perpendicular distance must be 8
And the moment must be 25 X 8
Which is 200
What's the final answer though?
6/10 is the cosine of angle a but i still dont know what's that got to do with the answer, and where die 6+10 even come from
