you use it for the simplify part tho
Also note that $x^3+x^3=2x^3$, not $x^6$

@thick storm think of it like this $(a+b)(c+d)(e+f)$. When using two brackets only, write it as $(a+b)(c+d)$. Now you get some terms in the big bracket $x+y+z$
