The period is basically how often the graph repeats
You can usually figure it out by comparing peak to peak
For sin and cos waves just subtract the $x$-coordinate of one peak from the $x$-coordinate of the closest one to it to the right

so the period is 2?
never mind i got pi/2 and it worked
how do i gind C tho
i have h(x)=2.5sin(4theta)
but it says im wrong
First of all choose sin or cos based on whats easier
if theres a peak or dip at 0 you want to go cosine
since cos0=1
in this case theres a peak of 2.5 at 0 so choose 2.5cos
For the inside remember that cos has a period of 2pi
we want the period to become pi/2, so we want to shrink the graph horizontally by 4
Hence 4 theta
Thus $f(\theta)=2.5\cos4\theta$
