First of all you can simplify the 2 in both those answers

And the rule of a quadratic is its sign between the roots is the opposite of the sign of the coefficient of the highest exponent and outside the roots it has the same sign

In other words the quadratic is negative between x1 and x2, so the solution would be everything except those values

4-2*sqrt(3) = 2(2-sqrt(3) because you're dividing by 2 they cancel out
