How to solve it?.

#

your diagram doesnt make sense at all ;-;

golden zenith
#

But all information is these

sleek agate
#

Your information contradicts each other

#

Wait never mind

#

I see it now

#

So you have two angles

#

What do you do to find the third angle in a triangle?

golden zenith
#

I could not find

sleek agate
#

So the angles of a triangle add to 180

golden zenith
#

But the answer is 40 degree

sleek agate
#

That doesn’t make sense

golden zenith
#

Idk

sleek agate
#

It should be 60

#

No 70

golden zenith
#

90-20=70

sleek agate
#

Ye

golden zenith
#

And..

sleek agate
#

That’s the answer

#

70

#

That should be the answer at least

golden zenith
#

It is not degree of bad,it is degree of bdc

#

oh you did mention it, my bad

#

I do believe, judging by the first looks, trigonometry might be helpful in this type of a problem

glossy radish
#

hold on - is DBC 90 degrees, or is ABC 90 degrees?

glossy radish
#

i was gonna say that this wouldve been a really easy problem

#

if it was abc

golden zenith
glossy radish
#

is 2x ac or dc

golden zenith
#

Dc

golden zenith
glossy radish
#

so dbc is a 90-70-20 triangle with hypotenues 2x

#

bc is 2x*cos20

thick sequoia
# golden zenith Which method?

i am unfortunately in my bed right now and not able to manually solve the problem but I believe you can find BD and AD in terms of X and then evaluate the remaining angles through those side lengths, though i cannot state anything definitive right now, sorry

golden zenith
glossy radish
#

I got it

#

sin(20)/x=sin(A)/(2xcos20)

golden zenith
#

And?

glossy radish
golden zenith
#

Actually yeah

#

Thank u all who helped at this question

when trying to solve angles - use the law of sines
