#Derivation for distance covered along the surface of earth. (Self-solved)

what are you given?
Well its not school related , sometime this week a question popped in my mind "How can i find the distance between 2 points on the surface of the earth, or in other words the distance a place/person etc covers in given time due to the rotation of earth?"
So, this was my approach
is this direct displacement or just arc length around the surface?

and shouldnt radius be constant?

Yes..... i have tried plugging different latitudes and it does work for them and tells the distance covered in dH
Tho i am not familiar with the haversine formula as i left maths after highschool as i am gonna go in medical,

I came to know abt it via physics
Just while studying gravitation
Hm..... i think this would be taught in maths but in like special geometry classes while on other in gravitation as we mostly work with perfect spheres so its just a property of it, ig
