i tried various ways 2 = 1+1 (since) 1= -1 => 2 =0 is the best i could do

Hey.

The mistake lies in Term 4 of where a single Square Root Equation is divided into two separate equations.

Only positive, real numbers can be done this to. Negatives cannot.

This solves Question 1.2.a.
