Magnitude? Yeah. Angle? Not really.

But a lot of the time from what I've seen, online homeworks are pre made by the company and not the instructor

So they don't exactly fit every quirk of the course (like not having a calculator)

Moral of the story - focus on the concept and don't worry too much about needing the calculator for the homework - your exam questions will hopefully have reasonable numbers to use.
