how to find other lengths besides hypotenuse for Pythagoras grade 8
i don't understand ur question , can u please write in a more clear language
and first of all u should not be asking ur doubts on discord , instead use ai tools like Chatgpt and gemini, its very helpful
you can do a^2 + b^2 = c^2
then you can rewrite the equation
" a^2 = c^2 - b^2"
then you can plug in your numbers and solve
so for this one it would be
"FG^2 = EG^2 - EF^2"
Ok thanks
@barren hare DO NOT USE AI FOR THIS. ai can get easy things correct but can also be inaccurate.

atrocious advice
so ...?
the leg length of a right triangle is
$c^2-a^2$ where c is the hypotenuse length and a is the other leg length
