the first number represents the x-value, and the second one represents the y-value, so in (2,2) the x-value is 2, and the y-value is also 2. When you look at the graph, you can see where the line that goes through the 2 on the x axis and the 2 on the y axis meet, and thats the point (2,2)

hmm so we take any point from the x line and go up until it reaches a y line??

for slope you can use a formula (y1-y2)/(x1-x2), which you can also see as rise over run, or Δy/Δx where Δ means "change in"

so if you want to find (3,4), look where x is 3 and where y is 4. You can see the faint lines that are in most graphs, and see where they intersect. That is the point (3,4)
