I know how to solve math problems, whether it’s calculus, algebra, sequences and series, you get my point. (Where I live, they focus more on teaching how to solve problems rather than the underlying concepts.) But I don’t fully understand how these things work, like why calculus was created or its significance, the core roots of it all.

I have 2-3 months, and I’m thinking of redoing the math I’ve learned from the basics and trying to bridging the gaps. Just looking for suggestions on where to start and any good resources.

For certain things I'd recommend looking if 3blue1brown has a video on it, they explain things nicely and start with the basics, if you want problems blackpenredpen has alot of videos for practice

They both do calc, 3blue1brown does linear algebra and blackpenredpen does alot with algebra and modular arithmetic

Youtube has a lot of channels, I personally use YouTube and wikipedia to learn things on my own, I don't really use textbooks or that stuff
