6x^3 / 2x
why is sung jin woo doing math
or you can say we write dividend inside the box and divisor on left side and quotient on above
sung jin woo got bored of shadows
understandable
divisor is given 2x-4, dividend is given 6x³-8x+5.
But writing 3x² in box 1 will make dividend 6x³+3x²-8x+5 which is not what's given..You can't change the question bro. You can't change dividend.
So if you write 0x² in box 1, dividend will be 6x³+0x²-8x+5 which is what's given @modest sparrow
moreover, when dividing like this, you write both divisor and dividend in order like
ax³+bx²+cx+d
so in box1, you have to write the x² term, but since original dividend doesn't have x² term, you take coefficient of x² as 0
Thanks man
So box 1 is 0x²
box 2 is 0
box 3 is 3x^2
box 4 is also 3x^2
and box 5 is 6x^3 - 12x^2
@modest sparrow you have divisor and dividend just divide like that in rough copy and comapare it with blank boxes, that's much easier
3x^2 times 2x gives us 6x^3 but we also have a -4 behind the 2, 2x-4 3x^2 times -4 gives us -12x^2
sorry for the bad handwriting but i hope this make it easier to understand @modest sparrow
oh yea it does i should probably relearn this topic i feel like im not that good at it
