$\dfrac{dy}{dx} = -\dfrac{8x + 3y}{3x + y} = \dfrac{-(8x + 3y)}{3x + y} = \dfrac{-8x - 3y}{3x + y} \ne \dfrac{-8x + 3y}{3x + y}$
