just help understanding the concepts to the fullest, trying to get a A on my test
some parts of equations i keep messing up even with my notes as a guide, i mess up mostly with finding area and perimeter
Use khan academy
already tried but it doesnt seem to be able to help much with specific issues im having. Nevermind this post ill figure it out at some point
Can you ask your specific issue, any concept you have difficulty with or the questions you have difficulty with? Do you need help understanding why something is the way it is or maybe you don't understand how to apply a formula or something?
well ive been having alot of difficulty with questions like this: i dont understand exactly how to find the missing end point, the work shown is what ny teacher drew on the board but the way she explained it so quickly i couldnt understand it all.
and i get confused when finding the area and perimeter of a triangle or rectangle/square, i try to memorize the exact steps because thats what usually helps me make sure i solve problems correctly, but i get the steps jumbled here
,rotate
Got it, well do you know how to solve equations?
Pro tip: Try to understand the logic rather than rote memorizing the steps, maths isn't about steps it's about logic, your life will become easier the day you realize that
I can solve equations when i know the steps required for solving the equations like what i do after plugging something in and where things go
What exactly are you lost in from the given picture ?
Say I give you a random equation like $3x - 5 = 4$ can you solve this to obtain $x$?

everything i have no idea what my teacher did, i dont understand the formula she used, it was my first time seeing it and she only used it for like 2 minutes
I could explain it in a vc real quick if you would like if not could you wait like 20-30 mins for me to finish my homework
I think so, would it be 3? Like you just move the variable 3 to the left side of 4=3z-5 and then 4 on the right side and change their signs and calculate the difference, its been a while sense i did those
Yea, so you do know how to solve equations
Good
Do you know the mid point formula?
Ok im done you still there ?
sorry i had to finish a project, but yeah i know midpoint formula and im good with that
same with distance formula a little
my test is tomorrow , wish me luck👍
Best of luck
The formula used in the solution is the mid point formula, except because you have been given the co-ordinates for the midpoint
you substitute them in for the values of the answer you'd get
rather than the input
so to find a missing point i just plug the two available points in the midpoint formula?
