f(0)>g(0) and f(3)>g(3), so you find area by integrating upper(larger value) cruve - the lower curve
so integrate according to the formula given to you
f(x)-g(x) = 2x^2 - 4x + 4
integrate that with respect to dx from 0 to 3
giving area(x) = 2/3 x^3 - 4/2 x^2 + 4x
now area = area(3) - area(0)
so area = (18-18+12) - (0-0+0) = 12 sq units
Thanks bud appreciate it
It looks correct, the AI gives me a similar solution. Also 12 sq units
Oh sorry I deleted it
This was the problem
Just in case anyone has a similar one
A and b are bounds?
yep
