Finding images of vectors in a square

Question: Let ABCD be a square. Determine the image of (AB) by the translation:

1. From the DC vector; 2) From the AC vector

Difficulty: I couldn't really know what the translations are, I have these following answers in mind:

1. From the DC vector: BC (but a quick Chasles proved me wrong)
2. From the AC vector: (no answer)
