For solutions in the solution set, you give points which are located in both the red and green area (which would be the overlap of both areas),
For solutions not in the solution set, you give points which are in white areas (which means that they aren't in either red or green)
thank you so much ❤️
👍
@main moat can u provide me with solutions for both answers? I am still a little lost and a better understanding like this would help.
well I'm not allowed to directly give you the answer, but I can help you understand it, also you deleted the original image
oh woops I think I got the solution are u able to tell me if its right or wrong for thr first one?
Yea what did you write?
Okay so for the Two solutions I wrote: (1,1) and (2,3) and for the non solutions I wrote (-4,4) and (6,0)
yes that is correct, I also forgot to mention that only being in 1 function also counts as a non- solution
okay sounds good, may you please confirm my other answer for num. 2?
What did you write?
one moment
For the two solutions I wrote (-2,5) and (2,1) and for the non solutions I wrote (0,0) and (4,4)
okay so the non solutions would be the solutions that are outside of the shaded box correct?
Yes
Okay my new non solutions are (9,2) and (9,4)
thank you so much for your help it really helps a lot
