@bright sail i usedw the quadratic formula

using that i obtained x=1/5
and x=-4

Now to put it into the factored form, i moved both of thoes solutions to the left giving me

x+4=0
x-1/5=0

To simplify i multiplied by 5 on both sides for the second one
giving me 5x-1=0

Now you can simply put them together

(5x-1)(x+4)

and when you foil, you get the original poly back

so i have x=1/5

i moveed it to the left by subtracting 1/5 to both sides

giving me

x-1/5=0

To simplify it, i multiplied by 5 on both sides

so i get

5(x-1/5)=5(0)

then it becomes

5x-1/5(5)=0
=> 5x-1 = 0
