I’ve been stuck on this for awhile now and have wasted tons of scrap paper could anyone help me I’m not just looking for answers I want a genuine explanation cuz I really do wanna try and understand
I am struggling
whats the question?
Oh number 2 sorry! It’s fine the slope which i can do but I’m having trouble with the graphing
do you mean find the line equation?
Take question 2 as an example
Say each square represents 'u' units.
Slope = change in y / change in x
Notice the dots. I assume they show the graph is at integral coordinates there
as we go from left to right:
y has gone from +4u to -3u
Change = final - initial
= -3u - 4u = -7u
x has gone from -3u to +5u
Change = 5u - (-3u) = 8u
Slope = -7u / 8u = -7/8
I think..?
I could read that seven more times and it wouldn’t make sense
could you show the directions in full?
Do you know how to find slope?
I’m pretty sure the slope is just if it’s positive , negative , zero or undefined and that I can do
the slope is your number m, thats all theyre looking for
I could try explaining here, but it would be time taking and inefficient.
Try searching up how to find slope of a graph and watch a short video on it. It'll clear things up about instantly
they seem fine in doing that from their images
Oh okay!
Sorry whats the question here im confused
My friends mainly helped with that but all together I don’t really understand
Do you know how to find x and y coordinates of a point?
Maybe ? What’s that
