so when you see 10 x 7, it's just equivalent to
10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10

i would probably go insane after awhile

when you add the ones place you get 3, and when you add the tens place you get 6, because

ones place: 1 + 1 + 1 = 3
tens places: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6

so your answer is 63
